Old board exams any use??

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I think they're good, especially from a standpoint of testing how much you know or where your weaknesses are. In many aspects the tested material doesn't change, only the way of testing it.

From a standpoint of trying to memorize or become familiar with questions that are most likely to be resused, then the newer exams are probably better.

I was wondering if those old unreleased board exams are any good. did anyone study from the 99-04 exams exclusively and do ok?? thanks

I think any old exams are good. I studied all the way back to the 80's and you'll definitely notice the same questions coming up again and again. I'd say there was about 30% of the questions that I recognized.

Are you talking about the ASDA released ones or the unreleased ones people are talking about? Also, did you take the boards this year? on computer or paper? Thanks in adv for your help.
