I just got a Kaplan DAT book from amazon and just realized it's for 2003 (doh!).

I'm just getting started with studying for the test, and I'm probably going to get the "destroyer" book once I get through the Kaplan one. But for now I would like to know...has the DAT changed significantly since 2003? How important is it to study from an up to date book?

Thanks!

I can't really answer your question about how much the DAT itself has changed over the years.

But I could answer your question about Kaplan books! If I were you, I'd go to a local bookstore to compare the text of the newest edition of Kaplan with yours. If it's different, then you may want to invest in the newer edition. If it's the same, then you'll be OK.

I used a Kaplan DAT book from 2003 to study for my DAT and it was just fine. Helped a ton and only cost like 3 bucks
