I wanted to start a thread that included DAT questions that people remember from their DAT test. I think a lot of people aren't prepared for questions on the DAT because they only are prepared for the questions that they see on Kaplan, and other resources.

I'll start with one:
Why is Carbon monoxide considered lethal in the blood?

Because it has a greater affinity for hemoglobin than does oxygen.

Will one of the mods please move this over to the DAT Discussion forum? Thanks!

Actually I wasn't lookin for an answer but thanks. This post is for old QUESTIONS! Not answers. I am aware of where things should be posted.

Steve, your brilliant thoughts and remarkable personality stand out with your beautiful avatar. You should have no problem getting accepted once the adcoms find your hobby list includes showing monkey sex on dental forums.

Bravo, well put. Some of the ******s need to be schooled every once and a while.

As for my personality....ask anyone who knows me, I'm actually a pretty nice guy. I just have no tolerance for stupidity as evidenced by a very small number of members here (present company excluded).

****** eh? I'm not the one who couldn't figure out to post a DAT thread in the "DAT Discussion" forum.

just relax man. Don't get too comfortable with your posts because your hiding behind your computer. I am a moderator for two other forums, i am well aware of where things should be posted. It's nice to see something other than your lame, "what are my chances" threads that don't help anybody out but yourself and are completely useless. As far as I am concerned this site is to help other in their pursuit of dentistry. I have done well on the DAT and I want to help others prepare for what they are against.

I agree with ASU- Devil. I don't believe that I have ever read a worth while post from ISU- Steve. ASU-DEVIL I think this thread is a great idea.

I never said this thread was a bad idea. Actually, I am all for it. If you want to post stuff to help people, by all means go for it. We're all here to help one another.

BTW If you don't want to read what I have to say, then put me on ignore. Simple as that.

What is the mechanism of this reaction? E1, E2, Sn1, Sn2.

something like that.

Click name, click view public profile, then click add ... to ignore list.

I also have to add that I agree with Steve on this one. This clearly should have been in DAT discussions.

That being said, I think the idea of posting old DAT questions that people remember is great. Let's add some more! 👍

Especially useful would be ones that people found tricky or hard.
