Hey guys, I was wondering if old editions of board review books were sufficient, or if I should buy the newest ones. Do you know of any books where a particular edition is crap, has mistakes, not enough info, etc? Just need to know if I should be asking Santa for anything...
Here's what I have:
First Aid: 2004 (I was told 2005 had errors)
BRS Path: 2nd ed
BRS Physio: 1st ed
BRS Behavioral Sci: 2nd ed
BRS Biochem: 2nd ed
Micro Made Simple: 3rd ed
Lippincott's Pharm: 2nd ed
PathCards, MicroCards: 1st ed
PharmCards: 2nd ed
Robbins Review: 1st ed
High-Yield Embryo: 2nd ed
HY Histo: 1st ed
HY Neuro: 1st ed
HY Anatomy: 1st ed
(someone told me to get the earliest HY editions because they threw a bunch of filler crap into the newer ones...is that accurate?)
Wow, that's more than I thought I had bought. Anyway, I'd appreciate any advice you can give me, even just for one book.
And sorry if this has been asked before...I did a quick search but couldn't find much. Thanks!
