I got a hold of some old Kaplan exams cause my cousin had them from years back. They are the old longer format but i'm scoring 26+ on them, does anyone think this is a bad idea/not actually a reflective of the real thing? They seem exceptionally harder, but I'm not sure and haven't been able to find anything on the old exams. They also seem extremely O.Chem intensive ~50%...and I mean extremely hard O.Chem material.

One problem is I usually finish them 10 minutes over time, but I think thats more attrition from their length than timing as the AAMC tests I took I used to finish with time to spare.

I wouldn't put much store by the scores per se -- as you noted, even Kaplan's more recent exams are relatively o.chem heavy. But any practice is good practice when it comes to the MCAT. If you've the time to take the tests and review them properly, then I'd say knock yourself out 😀

As La said, they may be decent practice but don't worry about the scores too much. Honestly, I thought any Kaplan tests I saw were pretty useless since they seemed to totally miss the mark of the real MCAT. That said, I did go through some of the orgo questions to try and learn some harder orgo and review concepts.
