I took the MCAT in August 2003. Now, because life isn't simple, I'm looking at applying in 2007 or 2008.

I'll have to take it again, and that's fine. Problem is, I did well the first time. Better than I deserved! 😳 So...do adcoms give any consideration to expired scores? If I drop a little, will they wonder wtf is wrong with me, or will my previous score help balance it out?

Good Question. I do not know. Will a good score from previous years help you? Will a bad score from previous years hurt you?

Does anyone know?

Once scores are expired, that's it. Some admissions offices even black out expired scores on your application so as not to bias the adcom.

b-real is correct. Once the scores are older than a particular school's deadline, yer outta dere.

Note that some schools have a 2 year limit, others a 3 year limit, while the TX schools' limit is 5 years.

Sorry sir.

Are you serious? That is awesome!
