Does anyone know how old of an MCAT will osteopathic med. schools accept? many thanks.

3 years max, some schools 2 years max (I dont recall which ones).

I wonder why this is so

a number of allopathic schools accept 5 year old mcats, mine is five and I also wanted to consider osteopathic schools. Bummer!

I thought most allopathic schools were 3 years. I know a few that accept older, but by far majority are 3 years according to MSAR.

3 years is the rule, but there are indeed exceptions. :D

I have five or six allopathic ones which will take 5 year old MCATS
