Hi everyone.

A friend of mine gave me eleven old Kaplan full length exams from 2003 that he purchased many years back when he wrote the MCAT. I'm currently enrolled in a Kaplan course so I'm going to be writing their newer CBT full lengths. I was wondering if anyone knows if the passages in the new Kaplan CBT exams are repeated from their older full length exams. If there's no repetition, I plan on using the old full lengths as sectional tests.

Thanks!

I used these old exams, and they were good (the length helped me get ready for the CBT, I didn't burn out as easily as some, plus any review material is good). However, I didn't take the CBT versions as well... I'd think they probably share a lot of the same material but your Kaplan instructor should know for sure. Best of :luck:

I have the old ones, and I'm currently doing the CBT. They ARE the same. The only difference is that the full lengths on the CBT have fewer passages to match with the new format. Also the discreets (non passage based questions) are mostly different. The discreets on the CBT come from some of the old full lengths in addition to the discreet paper tests that were previously available.

Thanks a lot for the info. I think I'll just leave the old full lengths alone and do the CBT exams later instead.
