Do interviewers ask different questions if the applicant is not a traditional out-of-college undergrad, but rather, have had many years of working experience? If so, I appreciate in advance your input in this thread.

An interviewer at UTSW, after getting through the small talk, said "Well, since you are older [I will be 30 in a month], none of my normal questions apply.... So, will you have a problem being ordered around by people younger than you in 3rd and 4th year?"

Not too many focus on it, however... I was surprised at the number of older applicants. They are are used to it by now.

30's aren't that old to be applying. There was a 46 year old man at one of my interviews.

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but at my 8 interviews, there was no focus on any ethical questions. One of the interviewers did ask about something ethical, I gave him a really polished answer, and he gave up on the ethical questions.

I was actually older than all of the student interviewers, which did seem a bit odd at first (I'm 30).

However, the big questions were:

What will your wife do here?
Why did you switch careers? (I was a marketing analyst)
Do you realize you'll be 38-40 when you get out of residency?
What can you add to the class?
