What's the scoop on this speciality? I'll be honest, I don't know much about it, but it seems really intriguing. Anyone know anything extensively or in depth about it? Thanks!

It's not really comparable to medical radiology. ALL dentists routinely read their own films, so OMF radiologists are pretty much restricted to academics.

ive seen a website with a omfr who had a practice in north carolina taking tough cases from specialist and gp's BUT ...he did endo for awhile before his rad. residency so he may not need to make much profit idk

TOUGH CASES?!! WTF is a tough case? It's not like reading an abdominal MRI! How's that consult go? "Hey, Bob. Larry here. Look, I'm sending over a PA of #13. It's a tough case. Do you think the PDL space is widened?"
