I will be graduating this may 2024 and would like to know if in between the time of graduating and waiting for my license, a 1-4 week externship would be worth while.

I have been very fortunately to learn how to successfully do surgical extraction (partial and fully impacted) and flaps through external rotations and internal OS department honors track. I have no desire to specialize.
