Hey everyone,

I am a third year applying for OMFS 4yr programs. I have applied for 3 externships at Rochester, Montefiore, and Maryland. I have one more place to apply to, and I wanted to know any information about those following programs:
Temple University
Boston University
Tufts University
Nassau Medical Center
Any other programs in DC, NY, or anything close to NY.
I basically am looking for a balanced well rounded program.

Thanks.

I heard good things about Washington Hospital in DC

Thanks for the input. Any more information about DC or any of the programs I posted would be appreciated.

Washington H is supposedly very good. More diverse procedures compared to 4-yr programs in NY with the exception of Montefiore. Good trauma ( DC ! duh ) not much IV sedation ( compared to a place like VCU or Tennessee) fair implants. Orthognatic good enough, not much TMJ surgery.

overall more on craniofacial than dentoalveolar; hope it helped

Did you actually visit that program or did you hear that from someone?

Thats according to someone who just graduated from there this past year. If you have info please share. What are your thoughts?

I have no info about that program. The 4yr programs that I know of that are good in my area are NYU-Bellevue, Montefiore, and Maryland.
