OMFS/PhD combined programs

Does anyone know of any 6 year OMFS program on the east coast that provides an opportunity to get a PhD while in residency? Can this sort of thing be coordinated with the medical school that the program is affiliated with? Any insight would be appreciated.

Augusta offers a PhD track as well as a MD track and MBA track. But no one has ever combined them.

But more importantly, why? Are you trying to out-degree Dr.Hupp?
