As you may or may not know this program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, so IT is a US program and Im considering it, having said that.... after doing an extensive search in google i found that there is practically zero information about it apart from the program website. (http://dental.rcm.upr.edu/CertOralMax.html)

Does anyone here knows something about it? Anyone interviewed there? Any comments / opinions? How is the program like?
Do you see it as an "inferior" program?

Thanks

Thank you very much CMistry, it would be great to get this kind of information. I am a bilingual spanish / english speaker, so no prob with spanish

I found an article published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery that talks about the program, I will leave the citation in case anyone is interested.

"Luis J. Díaz-Cabrero, Julio E. Guzmán, Atilano León, Jerónimo Guzmán, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Puerto Rico, Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Volume 69, Issue 6, June 2011, Pages 1842-1846, ISSN 0278-2391, http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.joms.2006.07.022."

Still, more personal opinions / overviews would be great

thanks

I know someone who interviewed there and said the program sounded great. It seemed like they didn't have the politics/turf wars that we sometimes encounter in the states. The downside I remember hearing was that they use a lot of paper charts. This means your spoken AND written Spanish need to be equally up to par.
