We are currently accepting PASS applications for the 2014-2015 Philip J. Boyne and Peter Geistlich Research Fellowship at Loma Linda University Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This is a competitive fellowship that will require a formal interview. Currently, we have several studies ongoing and are looking for a hardworking, capable, and personable applicant. It should be noted that this is strictly a research position. Although this may differ from traditional "intern" positions, you will have the opportunity to have several publications, presentations, and research experience that will separate you from other candidates. Additionally, you will get to travel to various OMFS conferences throughout the country, for example AAOMS. Dr. Alan Herford, who is the chair, is the current director of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and has established himself as one of the leaders within the field of OMFS. You will be working closely with him, managing the multiple research projects.
