OMFS Residency Interviews and Ranking

I am a D4 applying into OMFS residency. I have 6 interview invitations, and waiting to hear back from a handful of other schools. Looking for input from people who have applied and interviewed during past cycles. How common is it not to match into a program if I would rank all the schools I interview at? My class rank is high but CBSE is on the lower side. Hoping the CBSE won’t be a big factor in my chances of ranking at the schools I’ve been offered interviews at.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt as a fellow applicant, but every program that I’ve talked to has told me that once you have gotten the interview the Scores and rank stuff goes out the window and the rank list is based on who they like during the interview
