I noticed when looking one schools current resident profiles that out of the 8 residents 2 were from school A, 2 were from school B and 2 were from school C. I have heard of schools holding spots for or selecting students from their affiliated dental school, but I've never heard of schools being biased toward other schools. Is this just a coincidence or do some residencies consistently select students from certain schools (maybe the OMFS directors at these schools are good friends or something, I don't know). Maybe I'm just talking crazy and coming up with conspiracies, let me know what you think.

It's a conspiracy! Some do ....some don't.....Where I went to dental school, they usually filled one of their two spots someone from their dental school.
