I did get the rejection letter today, so sad, I like Arizona 🙁

On the plus side, Ft. Lauderdale is fantastic, and Nova was impressive

LOL, very nice thread title 😀 But really, you need to find a way to change part of "Arizona" into a vulgar word to be truly armoredtooth-y.

Sorry about the rejection 🙁 I am glad you enjoyed seeing Nova, I've heard it's great down there!

i got that letter from arizona this week too. it was particularly bland. they should find a way to spice up the rejection letters. add some personality, maybe jokes and jokes and jokes.
not just arizona either, other schools should start this too.

Eh, I'm just glad my first rejection came from somewhere I didn't really have too much hope invested in, and at a time when I have so many other interviews to worry about.

Fu8*@& B!tch-a-zona

I'm expecting my letter anytime now too...cuz I called earlier during the week and they said I wasn't granted an interview. don't know why either cuz my gpa 4.0, aa 23. I was expecting an interview at the least. guess i'm not a quality candidate.

I see...

"Muthafuker,

We regret to inform you that we're too good for you. Unless you significantly improve your application, you should consider a career in dental hygiene.

Regards,

ASDOH"

would that soften the blow?

... and why are you guys applying schools where they don't really like and accept out-of-state candidates? They don't care if your DAT's 22-27. They want Arizona residents.

They're a private institution; they don't care where you're from.

i don't need a "blow softened". i just thought it was a boring letter. it made me go 😴

throw in some bells and whistles

Mine was also dated September 15th.. guess they like to keep us hanging..

This was posted last cycle, but I thought you might enjoy the following.......

What would happen if someone actually mailed something like this out.

Dear ADCOM,

Thank you for taking the time to review my
application. I have received your letter of rejection
for admissions to the class of 2011 and it has been
reviewed. After careful consideration, I have decided
that I cannot accept your rejection at this time.
Unfortunately, I have received an unusually high
number of qualified rejections this year, and I simply
cannot accept all of them. Please plan on my
attendance at your school next fall.

Sincerely,
<your name>
