I've had this impinged nerve in my back for the past week. Do y'all know if this could be treated with OMM? How would I find an osteopath who could do this for me? I live in Dallas, if y'all know anyone specifically. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear about your pain, but we cannot (and will not) give you medical advice over the internet - we cannot examine you first hand.

If you indeed have an "impinged nerve," then no, OMT will not help you. You need to see your family physician to receive a full evaluation to determine the cause of your pain and receive a referral, if appropriate.

OMT can help with back pain of a musculoskeletal nature, but if there is nerve damage/impingement, OMT is actually contraindicated and can be dangerous. Again, I urge you to see a physician for evaluation.

Best of luck!
