I know that Simmons "Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine-Review for the Boards" and Savarese "OMT review: A Comprehensive Review in Osteopathic Medicine" are the most popular review books for COMLEX. To be honest I would prefer one that I can read through most of it in a day as I don't really want to give it more time than that. I will probably do some OMT specific questions for another half day or something. Any thoughts on these two review books?

Having never looked at the Simmon's book......I would go with Savarese. I liked the diagrams/mnemonics & the 3 tests at the end were pretty good as well.
I found Savarese to be sufficient for my step 1 (whether Simmon's is "more" sufficient, I don't know)
Whichever book you choose, make sure you do, in order, the ANS (which levels innervate what organs), Chapman points (tip of the 12th rib, anyone??), Sacroiliac dysfxn, upper & lower extremity.

Good Luck.

Also, see if you can change this to a poll. Might get more responses.

Thanks for your post. I have heard good things about both review books, but wanted to hear a few more opinions. I was actually thinking about a poll, but didn't think that was the best method as I really want to hear what people thought about the book they used, and didn't want people to randomly click on an answer for the fun of it.
