Is anyone else really excited at the possibility of wearing scrubs (essentially pajamas) to school everyday? On several school visits that I've undergo it always cracks me up that a lot of the students don't seem to have showered or put a whole lot of work into their hygiene for that day. Not that anyone was gross, but there were definitely some people with "bed-head".

As hard as its going to be, I'm really forward to d-school because I think it will be fun. I still think the hardest part is just waiting to get in. After that, you can take on all challenges as they pertain directly to the rest of your life. I'm stressed like everyone else, but I know that if I get in, I'm going to spend the next 7 months being pretty excited. That's if I get in... :scared:

Yup, it's true. Shirt and tie every day for the guys.

The novelty wears off quicker than you'd expect; but yeah, they're definitely better than having to dress up every day. 😀

Great, now I have to excercise too... :scared:

I heard scrubs look great on you only if you are in a good shape... :meanie:

Wow...I didn't know that scrubs were a fashion statement. Relax!!!!

ok, so guys wear ties (at Creighton)....that bites! But what about us gals? Tell I have to wear a skirt to class everyday and I am going to throw a hissy fit 😛

There's a dress code at VCU. No jeans, and guys have to wear a tie. Or scrubs, of course. I noticed that a lot of the students preferred to dress up though.

I'm actually more excited about getting to wear nice clothes everyday without looking overdressed. 🙂

Nice thing about scrubs is there like pajamas, ohh so comfortable. Plus if you ruin your scrubs, you can go out and buy more(reasonable cheap) Where as suits and ties, could get tiresome.

I can't wait till I hear something.

The real question is, how excited are you to wear the crazy patterned scrubs, I would love to wear some outrageous, but tasteful 😀 scrubs...Even though Im pretty sure you can only wear the monocolor ones that the school offers

We've got a dress code at UT .. Scrubs only work in gross lab and our d3/d4 year

What are the colors that are usually available? ^_^

Green and blue are the most common ones. Any other color?

Hmm... maybe I should order custom scrub from Vesace~ ^_^

I have about 7 or 8 solid colors right now, wear them 3 or 4 times a week for work. As for other colors, have you ever been to a fabric store, thousands of different prints are possible. The nice thing about scrubs is that they last a really long time if you get a decent pair. And as far as ruining them, the only pairs that I have had to retire were due to a blown out ass seam or the fabric simply wore too thin. The only problem with scrubs is that you definitely have to wear underwear because you will get a nice outline of everything that you have.

I have a lot of really cool looking scrubs from dental hygiene work. But so far I have yet to see a place where I am going to be able to wear them in school. For example, USC has specific colors I think for certain years and also their hygiene program. I have heard that other schools have some sort of rule on this as well. So I guess there goes my nice looking pattern jackets, and my turquoise scrubs **cry** 🙁

Aw man! And here i'd thought i'd buy myself scrubs with little duckies on them as a celebration prize if i get in! and so much for wearing my hs class pajamas (yeah, we had class pajamas instead of sweatshirts, and we got scrubs. probably the most comfortable pjs i own)... 🙁
