on hold for an AZCOM interview?

hi!

i just got a letter from AZCOM saying that my application is on hold for an interview. They said it has enough merit to be reviewed again, so they are placing it on hold. I know it's not a rejection letter, and their interview cycle ends in april, but does anyone know if this means i still have a good chance of interviewing there? Thanks =)

They sent me the same letter back in January and haven't heard from them as of yet. I pretty much gave up on them. I hope you have better luck then me! 🙂

Yeah, I got a similar letter in Jan and got a letter saying that I could transfer my application to one of their other programs today. 😉 I don't think that can be a good thing. Good luck to you!

I got one way back in late November, and haven't heard a peep since then. I would sure like to, but I'm not going to hold my breath over it. It's weird that I'm an AZ resident, get an interview to Midwestern-CCOM, but only a hold letter from AZCOM. Maybe that's why many people call getting into med school a crapshoot. I hope you have better luck than I have thus far!

haha, i'm an IL resident got rejected from CCOM and on hold for AZCOM =) oh well..thanks for everyone's input. at least i've got one interview at Touro-MI so i'm going to put my best foot forward when that day comes 😉
