So I like to think that I'm a big, tough guy who isn't afraid of anything...but for some reason I pass out and break into a sweat (in that order) ~20 seconds after receiving an oral injection or having blood drawn.

The weird part is that I'm not even aware of it until after it happens; I don't consciously FEEL afraid of needles. However, I am starting to develop a complex about passing out.

Has anyone else here had this problem? What's going to happen when we practice injections on each other? Can administering an injection elicit the same psychological/physiological response as receiving one? Is it something I just have to get over with repeated exposure?

My husband was passing out until he learned to breath and concentrate on his breathing during injection.Very often people holding their breath during injection
Never heard of anyone passing out giving the injection
