On step 1, when your time runs out, what is the penalty for not ending asap?

Okay I'm doing Qbank timed and saving my calculation questions for last. I notice that even when time has run out I can still take all the time I want to do the calculation and check it before submitting it, on my last question on my screen. Can I do this on the real thing too? If so what penalties would I incur? Less brake time or less time on my next block? Thanks in advance, gotta try and squeeze out every advantage I can.

I remembered, you can do this too on the real exam. The time you spend on that last Q however, eats away from your break time. If you do it on your last block, you'll have infinite time to finish the last Q for your last block!

I think you only have 8 total hours in which to the take the exam, so if the block time runs out on your last question, you can sit there and spend extra time on the question, but it will eat away from your 8 hour limit. So infinite time would be a dangerous assumption.

It would kinda suck to sit there and stare at one question from each block for 15 minutes apiece after the block time ran out, only to run out of total time before you even finish the exam.
