On wait list-thoughts on emailing interviewers

What are your thoughts on this? I'm on the wait list at my top choice. I've already sent a sincere letter of interest to the general admissions committee. I interviewed with two people-current student, and assistant dean of admissions. Do you guys think it would be a good/bad/neutral idea to email them personally to express a final interest? Many thanks for any insight.

You should send everyone that interviewed you (people not school) a thank you note or email. Thank them for their time, opportunity, consideration, etc.

Courteous thing to do and it can't hurt.

However, at this point, emailing your interviewers is a waste. It is too late and I doubt they even remember you.
