LoL at thinking getting rid of PBMs would help pharmacists. The extra profit will go straight into the CEO's pocket, not pharmacists'.

I mean, it's great for independent pharmacy owners who are also the pharmacist working there.

What would also help the profession is legislation banning chain pharmacies and mail order pharmacies and forcing the industry to only have independent pharmacies. How do you do it? Create legislation that says that "The Supervising Pharmacist/Pharmacist In Charge must also be a majority stake holder in the business."

The independent owner might be the pharmacist working there and who knows how long they are actually on the bench. Additionally for the pharmacists working at independents that aren’t the owner, this still isn’t guaranteed to help them at all. The market rates for pharmacist labor don’t just magically rise when more revenues are coming in. Gross margin certainly can act as a ceiling for operating expense but increased pharmacist supply, “efficiencies”, expanded roles of technicians all push the floor for pharmacist wages down. Any capitalist is going to want their expenses as close to the floor as possible for profitability reasons. If owners increase operating expenses on the basis of we are making more money on the same amount of work, if I was a shareholder or investor I’d strongly argue the fiduciary rationale for doing so. Increasing expenses I would want to see share growth, higher quality (which I would require proof that it turns into growth), Or only accept it if market rates have increased or there are new costs of doing business (regulatory etc). If you’ve been forced to make improvements in your cost basis due to pressures on your unit economics, those efficiencies should remain in place and the favorability in unit economics should be invested appropriately not just given away for doing the same work.

Okay why did captain america get banned? I didn't see anything inappropriate that he posted. The mods have seriously banned at least one person per week in the past few months.

Who knows? They probably want to kill the pharmacy forum for some reason. Maybe this will be the post that gets me banned.

Yeah for real. I didn't see any posts that were bad. Can a mod at least say it was inappropriate posts or PMs?

Pretty sure it is because he kept calling someone a coward in a different thread. Plus it is probably previously banned VictorOfHunger

Yeah, it is because he was a returned troll. The coward comment isn’t nearly bad enough on its own to get someone banned. It probably wasn’t even a TOS violation since he wasn’t directing it at anyone in particular (except maybe me? It was unclear to me). But someone reported him and it was reveled he was a returned troll.

I didn't see any trolling from him. Just look at this thread, he was trying to help this profession.

Meanwhile BMB is on his 4th alias.
