Once accepted, is there anything that can have D-school withdraw acceptance?

Okay, so I've been blessed with one very valuable acceptance into Baylor. My question is, now that I am going to send in my letter of acceptance, is there anything I can do to screw up and have the school revoke or withdraw my acceptance? Obviously a felony or something along the lines of breaking the law can ruin my acceptance... but anything apart from that?
Eight months is a long time to wait to begin, so I just want to make sure my anxious nerves don't get the best of me and I don't do anything stupid. Thanks again for anyone's input.

DUI would be a major NO-NO. And with the celebratory nature of getting into dental schools, some people do take it too far.

Don't fail your classes you're taking right now or planning to take.

Other then that, not really. Just don't do anything stupid. Congrats on Baylor! It's a great school.

I was wondering the SAME thing! I have just been accepted into dental school, and I am pretty worried about my fall semester grades. I have had a TON of things going on, and my grades may not be so pretty. Luckily my gpa will still be solid and wont drop, I've already calculated that, lol. But will sending in my fall transcript, with possibly bad grades, cause them to notify me or something? Or even worse, to revoke?? This is truly just a fluke semester for me. I've never been in this predicament before.

How bad are your grades? A's and B's should be fine. If you have anything C or lower, I would call them and ask them. Some school's are "okay" with C's as long as you passed the class. If you're going to get an F in a class especially a prereq, I would definitely be worried.

I was under the impression that as long as you pass type of thing. unless it is said otherwise in any documentation you receive. and yes 8 months is a long time lol

Temple says you must "Satisfactorily" complete your courses... That's too vague! Are C's ok?! Gaaahhhhh.....

most schools only require a C or better.

I just need to find out whether or not I can drop my microbiology class which i registered for next semester. I just don't want to take it. I do know that some schools requires you to take every class that you said in your application you were going to take. I said i would take it because some schools that i applied to required it but i didn't get accepted to those schools.

UCSF wants "B" or better otherwise your file has be reviewed. Definitely find out from the school where you've been accepted.

Here is what I would not do:

-Add to/create your criminal record
-Fail any classes
-Be caught cheating or dismissed from a class/school in any way
-Get caught sleeping with the staff of the school you plan on attending (heard of this happening, seriously...)
-Create massive debt that your student loan package can not help in any way

yikes, i forgot i put a course on my intended classes that i won't be going through with :/

That's really a predicament I was wondering about as well. Did you already get accepted into a school? Like realistically if that class you were intending to take is not required for admission, how much can it really affect your acceptance if you decide to simply not take it. Anyone been in this situation before?

I was in this situation last year when I got accepted at USC. I had dropped Comparative Physiology mid-semester, but it was listed on my application transcript. As long as it's not a pre-req, it shouldn't matter. Call the school and ask them yourselves to be sure, that's how I found out.

Be realistic too. Likely, the school didn't accept you because you were taking this specific class. There are plenty of factors more significant than that.

Hope that helps!

Oh ok, so I am assuming that you still got into USC regardless of you dropping that class, correct?
If so that is exactly the news I am wanting to hear. Thanks in advance!
