So I have also heard some varying opinions but I wanted to ask specifically for psych since I Know they have much heavier interview days than almost any other speciality interview day-so I figure they may way interviews slightly more than others-either way-once you get interviews are you pretty much all on level playing fields with the other candidates or is this just not true-I used to hear that in med school that once u landed an interview you were all on levle playing fields and had equal chances.
I mean I am by far not a super applicant so when I get a good interview I just never know if it is something most schools do-I mean are interviews given out really easily? or do they divy out only so many? Bottom line is should an interview make you excited that you have a chance or is it something most poeple get and wil only count slightly toward getting you in?
