One bad semester?

Can't see how it wouldn't look at least WORSE than if you didn't slip. I recommend sending nudes to your teachers to try to convince them that you'll do "whatever it takes" for an A
 
I had a 2.0 one semester. I don't think AMCAS counted it to sGPA
 
Just think of it this way: how many people that you're competing for spots with did NOT have a "bad semester?" Unfortunately, most of them. Doesn't mean you can't get in, but you'd better beat out other people in other areas
 
I have been talking to quite a few people. Some of them had W's and a C+ and still got in. Others have been telling me that one bad semester will look very poorly to medical schools. I'm not too sure about what is true or if it is case by case.. and I'm really starting to panic.
@neilmodi93, it all depends on what a "worse" semester is. Does it mean that you have a 3.8, but have slipped to a 3.5 average? Does it mean you have a 3.2, but have slipped to a 2.5? Unfortunately, context is vital in this situation and will help us gauge the "damage" that this semester may do.
