I have had all good semester's until this past one.
Fresh: 3.77, 4.0
Soph: 4.0, 3.71
Junior: 3.85, 3.70
Senior: 2.7ish???

What I would like to know is will one bad semester really affect my chances as long as I rebound next semester?

Depends on which classes you did poorly in, and how well you rebound. Downward trends are generally bad. It looks like your overall GPA isn't too bad, but it doesn't take much to bring it down.

D- in biochem...

rest of classes are in the B+/ A- range

also, i am pretty sure that gpa trend is viewed on a yearly basis, not semester basis. i wouldn't say you have a downward gap trend.

Only one low grade can be excusable. Just do your best to rebound and when you re-take the course.
