One month to go, but not sure what to do

Have taken the new MCAT without having done intro bio. @ciruji is correct in saying that it is more flexible and practice rather than content review. A flexible mind that works well under pressure will get at least a 505. Content to memorize would be amino acids, basic ochem mechanisms, and solubility rules.

I personally have given myself 4 weeks to prepare with a bit less time per week than you have. It is doable if you have the coursework. But your problem is clearly not content review if your practice problems are poor. If you are simulating test conditions and are freezing, then it could be a mindset issue. If you aren't, then it could be that you're a bit complacent and not creating the adrenaline rush you would need to imitate testing conditions.

If you want high yield practice, start reading scientific journals. Skip the abstract and read the rest in 90 seconds. Then take 90 seconds to outline what you think the abstract would say. Compare it to the real abstract. Did you miss anything? Learn to hone in on the important parts of research articles. If you get good at this, you will not panic or slow down during exam day.
