Just wanted to know why most people dont really consider this program? Is it because of the location. One of my friends said there are more animals up there than people.

Just want to get any feedback since I have an interview up there.

Thanks

hello anyone...

Seeing as I am a medical student at Upstate, i may be bias, but in my experience it is an excellent program. I do think that people don't talk about it because no one wants to live in syracuse. However, i love syracuse. Its a small city, but it has plenty to do around here, including many parks, restaurants, bars, etc. Although, i am a big fan of upstate NY so that also may be why i love it here.

Thanks for the feedback. Are you planning on applying there for psych?

Yep, I am interviewing this week.

I wasn't able to apply to this program for family reasons, but I have heard that the program is excellent. They supposively have strong psychotherapy training, which is a plus. As you know, the best way to find out about a program is to go on an interview. I'm sure it's worth the trip.
