I am trying to find a research opportunity, unfortunately all of the interesting ones seem to be in psychology (ugh). I'm an Anthropology/biomedical science major, and I'm okay I love psychology actually. I talked to one professor at the beginning of this semester and we set up an appointment to meet, but she kept missing it, not once or twice like 5-6 times. For various reasons, she finally told me that I should try and get with her next semester when things calm down. Even though I approached her way back in July! She is doing something I would really be interested in, and I want to wait but I don't want her to give me any excuses, I want to get to work right away. On the other hand I talk to someone else, and they are doing something, psychology, that I would also be interested but to my dismay he told me to talk to him nearer to winter break (cut me a break people) or come to his office hours. I do plan on going to his office hours. My question to you is, should I try and go for both of them, is that inappropriate, especially because I have never done research. Also is that insulting to ask someone in the same college, I don't want to be a douche, but I want to get started right away! If they both offered a position is it reasonable to do the work in both of them and take 16-18 credits? This is again assuming I get it next semester! Thanks as always guys!

if it is reasonable only depends on you and they time required. if you are working elsewhere it will affect it as well. if they are looking for work 4 hours a week each or so, then you should be fine. If they are wanting 20 hours each, that is up to you. do you think you could handle it? what are your study methods like? what other priorities do you? Etc. Etc. I am not looking for an answer, just some things to think about.
