So if you are FAP approved after the primary application is submitted (applied with just one school for verification), would I still be able to have my primary and secondary fees waived?
I tried to add more schools for primary and realized that FAP is not acted upon. Would it be at least acted upon secondaries?

Thank you

Ha ha, he said fap.

I don't believe you get reimbursed, but once you're approved I think THEN you get the benefits. Someone with more experience FAPing might be able to help more

makes me chuckle every time

Have you exceeded the 14 primary limit? If so, FAP will not apply to the rest. Most schools automatically waive secondaries but some won't

Did you pay to submit the first school and then apply for FAP, or did you get FAP approved and then submit?

I paid to submit the first school and applied for FAP

Well that means you are no longer eligible for FAP. You will have to pay to add any schools now.

You are supposed to get approved before you apply, and then when schools are sent your verified primary, it tells them you received FAP, after which they waive the fees. In your case you are having your primary verified after paying, and the FAP is not retroactive, so your primary will not show that you received FAP. You should really call AMCAS ASAP or email them.

No you can't. I called them about this.
I held off on applying for fap and thus on amcas because I didnt know you could email them the forms and I thought you had to mail them physical copies and I couldnt go home to get my parent's signature and forms. Had them scan it to me and I got it all done in 1 day. 1 month waiting wasted

Even still, why couldn't your parents just copy and mail to you or AMCAS?

They needed both my and my parents' signatures. I thought they wanted the original signatures, not a scanned copy 🙄 I guess I could have used snail mail but nah

soooo, why couldn't your parents make copies and sign the forms? You couldn't email/mail them the forms to sign and have them mail everything?

Because my signature wouldnt have been original, just a scanned copy

aaah I see. Well at least you were able to get in done quickly. It's still only July so it's not really late yet.
