Hi,

So I've been studying micro (using Kaplan) and I'm wondering if someone can help clear up a diagram that was never taught to us in class....

On page 382 of the Kaplan Immunology and Microbiology book (2008) there is a figure entitled "one step viral growth curve". I would really appreciate it if anyone out there could explain the meaning and importance of this curve.

The terms are not clearly defined and I'm a bit neurotic about being exact so any help would be great.
