Wondering if all ic fellowships will be coming two years? Is it necessary to do two years? Will you get adequate training with one? Can you do hearts, peripheral and valves with one year of ic? I'm in a fellowship which will allow me to gain a some pretty big numbers in cath through electives. That being said could I potentially learn everything I need to know in a one year ic fellowship? Appreciate any help, especially ic fellows.

It's very possible to get good experience with coronaries and peripheral interventions in one year, at a program that has reasonable volume. In my opinion, it would probably be quite difficult to also get adequate experience in structural heart disease in that same year. That's putting a lot on your plate.
