For any folks considering a post-bacc to go to Medical School, you should really look into the intensive one-year programs. The best known (and most successful) are at Goucher, Bryn Mawr, and Scripps. If you can get into one of these programs, the acceptance rate to medical school approaches 100%. They are very competitive to get into, but offer great advantages - mainly no curves, great teaching, and great MCAT prep. They also have direct links to many medical schools, which allow you to expedite the admissions process and skip the application year. I am finishing this year's Goucher program, and couldn't be happier!
