The dye that is used for ‘bone scans’ (Technetium 99m I think) - I believe that contains bisphosphonates/phosphonates. Is one at ANY risk of getting Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (ONJ) with that when used in the ‘tracer’?

I have only seen about people getting it when having proper treatment with bisphosphonates.

Zero risk of osteonecrosis. Only trace amount of chemical bisphosphonate is used (hence the name "radiotracer"). Dosing is based on activity, not gram weight of bisphosphonate, which is miniscule.
