Anyone know if any school out there offers an online A&P course or just an online Physiology for the rest of the summer? I know it's kinda late, but if you know of any, let me know. Thanks in advance.

You might want to be careful with online classes. A lot of schools won't accept them for your pre-reqs. As for ones still offering it, I have no idea.

online classes do not show up as "online" it just shows as a regular grade. I suggest go to "www.northwestms.edu" and enroll in the online course there. It is really cheap and they offer a ton of online courses.

Just make sure they offer lecture and lab separate, so that you can take the 1 credit lab at a college/university nearby, since labs can't be taken virtually.

oh yea, I didnt think they wanted to take the lab.. but yeah you can just take the class without the lab if you want to. But if you need a lab Southern Polytechnic university offers virtual lab classes and courses separately as well. But it costs a little more than northwestms.edu😉

the university of phoenix. they have like every class available online. i almost had to take a&p 1 and 2 online to meet some school's "science classes must be completed by the end of spring semester" rule...but i just decided not to bc its kinda pricey. yup!

I'm actually at University of South Florida right now and I am taking A&P 1 and 2 online with online labs. I emailed most of the florida schools to see if they would accept it and they said it was fine as long as it is from a major university.

How can you take an online Lab ??? I mean, they can show you a picture of a bone and ask you to identify it, but it's not the same as being in front of it. How about A&P2 where most schools make you dissect a pig/cat?

Welcome to the 21st century, there's alot of things u can do in online classes now. Even in my A&P2 lab we use computer simulation in class though. Its better than harming an animal i guess but not all schools make u dissect an animal. Even more prof. schools are trying to move away from cadavers but use a better model instead but i guess for medical schools u will definitely need a real cadaver bc there's no subsitution for the real thing.

I live in the 21st century and we use computer simulations for most of our labs both in the lab and outside of class. But labs are supposed to be time for hands on by the student. In my personal opinion there's nothing like the real deal.
