Hey SDN, I've got a quick question about online classes and schools that don't accept them. I recently retook four classes - two at the university and two online. All of the MD schools I'm applying to take online classes except for my state school.

Should I still apply to my state school? They'll still be able to use the two on-campus classes I took. Will they just ignore my online classes and use the old ones, or will it be a transcript issue?

To further complicate matters, the school doesn't list which classes are online. Do I need to call my state school and inform them the classes are online?

Your state school will not know that these are online. I've taken many online classes and they all show up the same on my transcript. The only way they can tell is if it's at an online campus.
