Online Classes for Pre-Reqs

Hi-

Does anyone know of any legitimate online colleges that offer some of the necessary pre-requisites for PT school? I am working full time and it is difficult for me to find the necessary classes to take where I am, so I am hoping that there are some online alternatives that I could turn to.

Any help would be appreciated!

Check the universities or community colleges around you. I took one online class at my undergrad university and have taken a couple at a community college near where I'm living now.

I took my statistics and psychology class online from the local community college. I know some of my PT school classmates took some graduate level online classes such as biomechanics, biogenetics, biochemistry to satisfy some prereqs from all over the country UCLA, UF, etc... You just gotta look at each invidividual school's website and see what they offer.

I took Pathophysiology online through the UCLA Extension and no admissions board said anything about it. As long as the pre-req is transferable between the two institutions, I wouldn't see a problem. If you're looking to apply to California schools, a useful website is www.assist.org. It has a huge database of all California public colleges and how their courses transfer. Even if you aren't applying to any California schools, it might help you out on figuring out which classes are which.
