Online classes FROM same University the med school is at?

I have read a lot here about the "no-no's" of having a lot of distance learning. Can anyone here describe their experience or anecdotes of the treatment of distance learning acquired from the same university the medical school is at?

For example, if I have online classes from Michigan State and I want to go to Michigan State D.O. school, will they look down on them?
