On the advice of the director of admissions, I'm looking to take one upper division biology class in fall semester and one in spring semester to show I have the ability to get the grades. Unfortunately, I'm active duty military.

Does anyone know of a way to take upper division biology classes online or by correspondence? I want an accredited school, but don't care about prestige particularly.

She suggested anatomy or histology. She said to avoid any "health" type courses. Any suggestions?

I know UC Berkely Extension has a handful. explore.berkeley.edu

Thank you, thank you! I'll check it out.

Anyone else know of any other leads?

Another question, if the admissions director says upper division, does that mean only 300 and 400 level classes or does it include 200 level classes?

I don't think every school uses the same number system. At UC Berkeley, lower division classes were one and 2 digit numbers, upper division were 100-199, graduate were 200+. Where I did grad school, graduate level courses were numbered 700+.

Thanks for the info. I was worried about the Berkely extension courses for just that reason 🙂

Thanks!
