Hello,

I need to take a statistics class this winter to finish the pharmacy prereqs and I'm going to take it at my local community college.

Does anyone know if online courses are accepted/considered the same as a regular class? I emailed the pharm schools I'm interested in and most of them haven't emailed me back yet 🙁

Also does anyone know if your transcript states whether a course was taken online or not?

Thanks!

Many online courses are considered the same as a regular class with the exception of labs. I don't know of any schools that don't accept non-lab online courses, but it can't hurt to be sure where you're applying.

As for transcripts, it's not listed on mine but PharmCAS does ask you to designate if the class was online or not.

Yea, you should be fine. even some online lab class can be considered. My school does not offer anatomy class. 4 out of five school i called they accept anatomy online course. But you should call the particular school and make sure they accept it.
