I'm currently struggling to find a physics II course I can take didactically. My university cancelled my lectures this semester so I wound up taking Phy I online with in class lab and exams. I wasn't thrilled about it, but its the only option I had.

This upcoming fall is looking like it will be the same problem, I am freaking out because it is the last course I need for my pre-reqs. I plan on applying this June with the new 2016 application period, I am worried if I wait around till winter 2017 to take the course "when it is normally offered" at my university (according to a counselor) it will still fall through and I will be out of luck.

The brilliant counselor I am working with says the online should be fine, it wouldn't show up as an online course on the transcript anyways... (is that true??)

My work schedule limits my capability to make some classes, I wish I could make it work, but as a dental hygienist (unflexible schedule) it's just not plausible.

Any opinions on the strength of this online course duo on my transcript? I am searching CC's locally to hopefully get it there instead, but they all say it won't be available until Winter 2017... lovely

TIA!

I would call the schools you are interested in applying to and ask. For instance, MWU AZ was cool with me doing anatomy online but I made sure I checked with them before signing up for the course.

Some schools won't let it slide but others could care less. Like others said make sure to call each school.

It will show up on your application. There is a spot where you mark "distance learning." Its better to take it at a community college than online, IMO.

Thank you all, I contacted the school and they say they normally accept it as they have before from my university.
