I know that if it can be avoided it should be. I am taking courses through UCLA extension and there are quite a few physiological science courses that are offered as online coursework. I am commuting 1.5hrs to and from school because the local community college does not offer night courses that I need to take and there is not another state school with a reasonably priced open campus offering night courses nearby. I am working 2 jobs, which range anywhere from 9-60+hrs per week depending on patient load (frustrating) and it is near impossible for me to take more than 1 course per quarter with my schedule. I was wondering what everyone's opinion would be of online coursework to avoid the commute and be able to work at my own pace, on the weekends or in down time to my job. I'm hoping that by fall one of the jobs will stabilize or I will be able to find a full-time job so that I can take 2 courses a quarter on campus but for summer would it hurt to take an extra upper div science course online?
