I plan to apply for various premed postbacc programs next Fall (2025) and hope to start a program in 2026. I am a software engineer with a 3.6ish GPA (computer science) from Berkeley.

I ended up taking AP Spanish in sophomore year in high school, almost 7 years ago. I have forgotten everything. Is it worth taking Spanish classes for credit a local community college? I think I can manage the language classes with my work schedule. I don't think I can any STEM courses though.

Anyone done this? Were you able to do it and did the increase in GPA help? I think I need 20 credits to get to 3.7+
Thank you

I don’t think that would help. You have 2 GPAs calculated when you apply: your cumulative and BCPM. BCPM is the most important and only includes hard math and science courses. It would only help if you could take easier math and science courses and do well.
