Is it OK to complete the english requirement using online courses? I'm not sure if this is acceptable to most schools?

While it's probably okay, you really want to check with the schools first. Some are more sticklers than others.

Does the Online section have a different course number, or is the only difference the section? If the course number is the same as the classroom based sections, then go for it. I honestly wanted to stab my eyes with sharp objects every second of my Am Lit I and II classes.
