Online Pre-Req Courses

Hey All,

Does anyone know of any online classes available to complete the pre-reqs. Especially interested in taking a intro/general chem course and pre-calc.

Math is fine but Chemistry requires a lab...at least take it at a CC...preferably a four year school.

I would prefer to do english or history online. Do your science labs in a classroom but you can take general chemistry online (it is all about reading and memorizing the equations and all that). my core composition class 1 (writing) is okay, but do you think I should take the Core comp 2 online? I should have took the core comp 1 online because it is all about writing and then I don't need to waste gas and take the lightrail there.

How would you know if the school doesn't accept online courses? I looked up on pharmcas and didn't see anywhere about if the courses had to be only classrooms....

In most cases, an online course shows up in the exact same way an on campus class would show up on your transcripts. Double check with whatever school you end up taking classes at but you should be fine.

you also have to declare which classes in your pharmcas transcript was distance learning aka online

Try UC Berkeley Extension: http://learn.berkeley.edu/

They offer pre-calc, intro chemistry, econ., and a lot of other great stuff. Kinda pricey though...
