(Disclaimer: I've searched the forums to find a suitable answer to this question but I haven't found what I'm looking for)

Couple of questions regarding online courses:

1) are they typically geared towards learning content or how to take the exam? (I'm looking for something to help with the 'how' of the MCAT as opposed to content)

2) which course would you suggest?

Thanks

1. All courses focus on both content review and test taking skills.

2. I wouldn't suggest any online course. I can see the value in having a classroom course, but not an online one. For a classroom course, you have a teacher that you can talk to and students for the camaraderie. With an online course, all you have are the materials and a schedule. At that point, you might as well save more than $1000 and buy the materials yourself. Armed with the best materials available, a schedule, and your own motivation, you have more than enough to take on the MCAT.
